Community Learning Project is one of VTeam's student-led 'Regular Projects'.
CLP is an award-winning volunteering project that makes a big impact on the community of vulnerable adults it supports.
Our volunteers work with elderly people, adults with mild learning difficulties, and people who didn't get the educational opportunities and support they should have.
We support them with IT skills, writing emails, looking up bus timetables, using Google Maps, and anything else that assists them with their day-to-day lives and aspirations. We also get involved with arts and crafts projects!
CLP is for students who are looking to make a difference in someone’s life. Over time, students can see the clients we support grow in confidence and happiness. You don't need any special skills to volunteer - just a big heart and a willingness to help others.

A Communications Officer (volunteer role) from the project will email you to advise next steps.
You will need to complete online Safeguarding Training and the Volunteering Agreement to be eligible for sessions.
2025/26: Sessions on Saturdays, 10.15am - 2.00pm inc. travel time.
Sessions start: Saturday 18th October
All travel arrangements and expenses are covered by VTeam.
