NOTE: It is preferable that you sign up to both days, unless you really can't make it (we'll take anyone willing to volunteer their time). This is to make communication easier between all volunteers.
Do you want to help make a difference for adults with autism and/or learning disabilities? We've partnered with ECL (Essex Cares Limited) to paint one of their classrooms, thereby creating a brighter, better environment for their service users.
We've reserved two days at the day centre to get this done (though it might not take that long) so we've got the time to get this right. With enough of us, we can really make a difference to this community.
We will meet on the Colchester campus for taxi pick up--the exact location to be confirmed closer to the time. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on. We'll provide gloves (non-latex), shoe covers and extra face masks should you need one.
Please complete a lateral flow test the day before or on the morning of attending. Please only attend the activity if you test negative.
