Lingo Regular Project

The aim of this project is to help secondary school students improve their skills in Spanish, German, English and French. One of the biggest barriers to learning a new language is a lack of opportunity to practice; Lingo gives kids the opportunity to test out what they’ve learned in the classroom. Practicing their foreign language skills on university students is an exciting change from speaking to their teacher and volunteers will see how this brings out the best in them. This project is for students who have a minimum of an A-Level in the corresponding language. Therefore, this is not just perfect for native speakers, but also for those who have chosen to learn a second language and want to continue speaking it. Whether you are interested in teaching or you just want to maintain your language skills, Lingo is a fun way of doing this. Volunteers often build a strong sense of community as they are brought together by both volunteering and by language.
