Progression Mentoring Volunteer

Progression mentors provide 1-1 support to a young person to help them reach a positive outcomes. A positive outcome is normally moving in to education, training, employment or volunteering.

 

A mentor will virtually meet with their mentee a minimum of once a month and help set actions to help the young person work towards their goal.

 

This volunteer role is suitable for anyone that is passionate about inspiring young people to reach their own goals.

When: Times to suit individual
Duration: A minimum of one hour mentoring meeting per month for each mentee.
Training (if applicable): Local volunteer mentoring training will be provided in addition to online Moodle training modules.
Transport provided: No
Event on Colchester Campus: No
Hours of commitment required: 1 - 4 hours a month for virtual mentoring.
