ISA Marketing Officer

The ISA Executive is made up of the following voluntary roles:

Chair, Deputy Chair, Project Officer(s), Marketing Officer

 

The ISA executive shall be responsible for the day to day running and development of the ISA and to ensure the ISA achieves it’s objectives as listed below:

a)   To ensure sufficient support is available to international student communities when needed

b)   To ensure social and cultural events are diverse and accommodating to all students

c)   To provide an effective channel of communication between international students, VP International and the student community

d)   To promote & encourage international students’ participation in activities and events whilst at the University

e)   To facilitate a wide range of international students’ cultural events

f)    To increase the accessibility of cultural events to all students.

 

The marketing officer shall be responsible for:

1.     Promoting the ISA and events through all official ISA social media accounts

2.     Liaising with the Students’ Union media platform (Rebel) to highlight international students in the University of Essex

3.     Engaging with the student community at the University of Essex to promote the ISA

4.     Working with the VP International and the project officer to ensure that all promotional leaflets and materials are requested at least 4 weeks in advanced and distributed accordingly

5.     Designing marketing materials when necessary.

6.     You will be expected to do on average 6 hours a week (please be aware that this is absolutely flexibale)
