Student Co-creation Officer (Variable 4 - 12 CSP)

About this activity

What is Co-Creation: Student co-creation means that students work alongside staff as partners on a project or initiative. It’s an opportunity for students to actively shape and enhance the student experience at Warwick by bringing their skills, expertise, and experience to a team.  Staff across the University are keen to work with students, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

What roles are included: Student co-creation is found in a lot of different roles, including: student project officers, co-creation officers, researchers, facilitators, resource developers, network leads, designers and operational support. They can be found in academic departments and central teams.

How to access co-creation opportunities: Many opportunities can be found on Unitemps throughout the year. Your department may also have opportunities available, so please do reach out directly or keep an eye on your department newsletters.

The hours and length of each role will vary, and there is usually plenty of flexibility built in to ensure the role fits well around your studies.

If you feel that a role you are in or will be joining fits this description and you would like to add it to your Warwick Award, you can self-register for this activity. When you have completed your student co-creation role, you must submit your skills development reflection and any supporting evidence to claim the linked Core Skills Points. You will need to provide evidence that you completed the role and the hours involved, this can either be an email confirmation from the relevant co-creation activity lead or a PDF copy of your approved payable hours from your Unitemps account if it was a paid role.

Students can find out more by contacting Katie Berlin at inclusiveeducation@warwick.ac.uk or Michelle Watson at studentexperience@warwick.ac.uk.
